Monday lunchtime and I haven’t set a new Listening Theme yet – shame on me!.
Here’s something that should keep me occupied this week and should throw up plenty of different music genres. Bands or solo artists (surnames) beginning with the letters X, Y or Z! There’s some obvious ones but what are the stand-out albums?. If you know of anything worth listening to that I might not know about let me know.
Cheers,
Paul
Dwight Yoakam – greatest country singer of my generation
The Zutons – pop rock band from Britain. Think old school Radiohead, The Coral, and the Strokes…their first album is great.

How could I have forgotten the ZOOBOMBS?????
The Zutons are all over the place which is probably why I liked that album. Fantastic eccentricity. Some of the track had a bit of Sly and the Family Stone feel while others had a more straight up British thing going on. It’s kind of a beautiful mess.
